Claire Granson

Claire is a third year Master of Counselling student at Athabasca University from Calgary, Alberta. She studied Exercise Science in her Bachelor degree at the University of Lethbridge. There, she discovered an interest in the social and psychological aspects of sport. Claire has worked with children for over 15 years in various settings including preschools, childcare, and coaching youth soccer. Through these experiences, Claire has honed in her psychological interests to counselling children. Her love for sport and fitness has inspired the exploration of the potential benefits of physical activity in counselling.
