Kim Rock is a graduate student in the Graduate Centre for Applied Psychology in the Faculty of Health Disciplines at Athabasca University. She will be entering into her third year in the program in the Fall of 2018 and is currently involved with a team of scholars interested in enhancing services, research, and advocacy for maternal mental health progress in Canada. Her research interests include maternal mental health, the sexualisation of young girls, and forensic counselling. She will be writing her thesis next year in the area of maternal filicide and infanticide. She resides in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan where she is employed by Indigenous Services Canada.
