Nicole graduated with a Diploma of Nursing through MacEwan in 2007. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing through Athabasca University in 2011. She has just recently defended her thesis for the Masters of Nursing program through Athabasca University. She has been teaching as a clinical nursing instructor since January of 2014 in Edmonton, Alberta through the University of Alberta. Nicole’s research area of interest is how to improve nursing student outcomes related to the development of clinical judgment in the clinical setting. She is also interested in developing strategies to support new clinical instructors while they are adapting to the clinical teaching role.
